We've come so far...

These kids don't know what they've done to me, but I'm a big old bag of mush because of their adorable dimples and hilarious personalities.

Happy first day of school to these cutie pies:)

Technically, it's the toddler room for Luke...but that should be super fun, too!
Next year, buddy!

I love you!!!

If you only read one book this Fall...

Please God, let it be my new YA series! Being a self published author is incredibly hard and nearly impossible. But here I am...giving it a go.

So, that's why I MUST share all of this precious info with you!!!

Right now, the biggest battle is getting people to read my book and of course obtain reviews. If you like YA, are looking for a new series, want to support an indie author, then please check out my Amazon links. All honest reviews are SO incredibly appreciated, you have no idea.

And just for fun, here's a picture of the family from our road trip up through Vermont, NH & Maine.  It was only a few weeks ago and I miss it already!

Who loves YA?

So, not only did I have two children after a horrible and mostly torturous bout of infertility, but it turns out I also really like to write. I've written for a living before, but it was always for TV and way short. This is different and I hope you approve.
Not only wrote that first YA nonfiction, but I ALSO started a new YA series because I really and truly felt like the market was lacking a little sumthin sumthin in this one area. As a young gal, I grew up on different YA series (Sweet Valley High!) that examined friendships and the trials young people go through (eating distorders, toxic relationships, coming of age, finding themselves, trust) and nowadays it seems like everything kind of revolves around Fantasy.
Personally, I looooove fantasy worlds. How great are they? But, even though I can relate to the characters on some level, it's just a different kind of read. So, here is book one of my new series. Book TWO will hit the e-shelves in a month!

AAAAH Sleep Suit

Luke has been sleeping through the night since 3.5 months when he went from being swaddled to wearing the Merlin's magic sleepsuit to bed. Well, now he is 8 months old and STILL in the sleepsuit and miserable without it. He hasn't tried to roll in it yet, but that has to be coming. Transitioning out of the sleepsuit is horrible :( And I really don't want to sleep train a kid that can stand, so I want to do it now. Oi vey. I'm tired.

Other than that, Luke is the bomb. He claps, smiles, laughs, babbles "mamamama" and "dadadada" and "beh". Lol. He also takes 2 naps...a short one at 10am and another at 1pm when his sister goes down.

He's such a happy guy. I love him so much!
