Opened a card.

Threw it out.

Walked around before realizing I was carrying an empty envelope.

Went to type this post in.

Typed it.

Then realized I wasn't on this blog.  

I was on my old one...that I never go on anymore.

Pregnancy Brain #6...and beyond...

This morning, I left my phone at home in NJ, whilst I work between two places in NY. 

Yesterday, someone emailed me asking for a few email addresses and I sent them home addresses.

Then, when trying to forward them the email addresses...I "temporarily" put the addresses in the 'To' section before copy and pasting them into the body of the email.  Then, I pressed send.  Without deleting them in the "To" section...Essentially, I just forwarded the entire email chain to the people they had wanted to email.  Not embarrassing at all.

Last Friday, a coworker asked me to give my usb drive to a designer and I told her that she still had it.  Then she pointed to my under arm and sure enough...it was there.  Nuzzled in my armpit.

AAAAAH.  I used to be smart! At least semi-smart, with a reliable brain capable of day-to-day tasks. 

No mas. 

I really hope this baby is smart because it's taking all my juice.

Pregnancy Brain #5?

This week I have:

lost my purse in my house
lost my phone in my hand
left the keys in the front door (this is becoming a pregnancy favorite)
forgotten numerous steps to my morning routine...aka - I forgot to wear deodorant AGAIN.

...and it's only Wednesday.

Pregnancy Brain #4

Got off the train.

Went up the stairs...

exited through the mouth of Penn Station.

Spilled out onto the streets.

And turned left.

Continued to walk for over a block in the WRONG direction!


Pregnancy brain is real, y'all.

Pregnancy Brain, Numero tres.

Left the keys in the front door for four hours yesterday.

That seems safe, right?

Pregnancy Brain. The Second Coming...

Definitely just walked out of the shower without rinsing my conditioner out. 

ACK!

I am 12 weeks and 4 days.  Sooo I kind of have a lot further to go without rolling the car off a hill or wearing only my bra to work. Cool. 

Pregnancy Brain? The first sighting...

So, I went to Whole Foods and MAY have accidentally gotten charged $81 for a box of frozen waffles.  Yes, organic food is expensive.  No, it isn't that expensive. 

Can you believe I DIDN'T EVEN THINK THERE WAS ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS SITUATION?!  I mean, the whole thing is so ridiculous that I can barely blame the cashier. ANYONE would notice paying 81 dollars too much at the grocery store register besides maybe J.Lo and/or Simon Cowell.

Later when the problem was realized (and yes, I've since had it refunded), even my friend who checked out behind me declared that she noticed the price of my bill being insanely high.  And the lady behind her probably noticed too.  But not me!!! Pregnancy brain may very well be a real thing.
